Hello visitor,

I am Jerry George, parent and grandparent, and the owner / manager of MusicKids, online retailers of musical toys and musical instruments for children. As you might deduce from the photo above left, I am a music educator. I hold a BA in education and Masters in guitar performance. [ I am a recording artist with radio and TV credits who still performs occasionally, and a published arranger of classic guitar music. ] I am also a Suzuki trained guitar instructor with my own Suzuki program, have been certified and taught the ChildBloom guitar program, and trained in early music education as a Music Together teacher.

As an employee and department manager of several music stores I came to realize the importance of early music education and the void to fill, focusing on supplying musical toys and musical instruments for children. This was continually reinforced as I expanded my role as a teacher and requested music stores in my locale to carry specific instruments for my students to purchase from them. After students began to return to lessons and classes with different and inferior instruments than the ones that I had requested, [although they were reasonably priced], I decided to supply those products myself. With the advent of the internet MusicKids grew and expanded by keeping our focus on children and adding more appropriate musical instruments and musical toys, which we now offer via our online catalog.
